HISTORICAL SETTINGS IN THE CARLSBERG CITY DISTRICT


The halls and rooms at Carlsberg Venues can create the perfect atmosphere for your next event. Each hall has its own unique history and artistic character, blending historic and contemporary artworks. We do also offer rooms at Home of Carlsberg.

CARLSBERG MUSEUM & BUSINESS CENTRE

DIPYLON HALL

Step into our atmospheric conference hall, equipped with a large projector screen, Teams, and sound and lighting. This space provides the perfect setting for professional meetings and presentations.


As a unique feature, you'll find perhaps the most iconic frieze at Carlsberg Venues—a tribute to the key figures behind Ny Carlsberg.

OTTILIA HALL

This hall offers an inspiring setting for breakout sessions, larger meetings, and engaging social interaction—whether for professional networking or collaborative engagement.


Named after Ottilia Jacobsen, the wife of Carl Jacobsen, this space reflects the couple’s lasting influence on art and culture in Copenhagen.

GALLERY HALL

This corridor is perfect for a standing welcome with breakfast or appetizers, social gatherings, and breaks throughout the day.


Stepping into your event, you'll be greeted by portraits of employees who have worked at Carlsberg for 50 years or more, proudly displayed on the walls. The tradition began in 1926, and in recent years, a few more faces have been added to the walls.

QUEENS HALL 

This hall is a tribute to Danish queens, and with the atmosphere created by sculptures of four Danish queens, it is perfect for dinners, receptions, and special events.

HALL OF PAINTINGS

In this hall, featuring art that depicts the Jacobsen family and their lives, you'll find the perfect setting for a business meeting or breakout session.


The most famous of the painting is probably the renowned Danish painter P.S. Krøyer. Painted in 1888, it captures a festive night hosted by Carl Jacobsen in the room next door — the original Glyptotek.

RAGNAROK

This stunning red hall sets the scene for unforgettable dinners, standing receptions, and social networking events.


Named after its striking frieze, the hall showcases a powerful depiction of the events leading up to Ragnarok, where the old world perishes and a new one is reborn, drawn from Nordic mythology.

EMPRESS HALL

In the atmosphere of the Empress's presence, this hall offers an elegant setting for a smaller business meeting or breakout room.


This hall contains several iconic busts, including the most famous of them, 'Two People,' created by the renowned Norwegian-Danish sculptor Stephan Sinding in 1891.

GOLDEN AGE HALL

The ideal hall, perfect for a business meeting.


This hall is decorated with paintings by some of the great Danish Golden Age painters. Discuss your new business strategy surrounded by the art of Ernst Meyer and Wilhelm Marstrand.

GLYPTOTEK HALL

A beautiful hall perfect for a seated dinner.  


This room is the original Glyptotek and the original room of brewer Carl Jacobsen's private art collection. There was a direct entrance from his impressive villa, and he installed a hidden peephole in the wall, where the brewer could observe who was in the room.

HOME OF CARLSBERG
  

ART ROOM 

At Home of Carlsberg, you’ll find the Art Room, typically used for meetings and workshops. 


The room is adorned with historical busts. From the Art Room, there is a view of our Sculpture Garden, which is home to a small selection of Carl Jacobsen’s sculptures. The most famous of them is probably the one by Edvard Eriksen, the same artist who created the Little Mermaid. We call it "The Little Mermaid’s Little Sister."

Ingredient Room

At the Home of Carlsberg, you'll find the Ingredient Room, typically used for meetings and workshops. 


The walls are decorated with installations showcasing the four main ingredients in beer: Water, Yeast, Malt, and Hops. From the Ingredient Room, there is an unobstructed view of the horse stable, where our four-legged residents go about their daily activities.

The Carlsberg Bar

At Home of Carlsberg, you'll find the Carlsberg Bar, typically used for receptions and social networking events. 

The Carlsberg Bar is a newly renovated bar and hangout area, located in the original buildings of the Carlsberg brewery. From the Carlsberg Bar, there is an unobstructed view of the horse stable and direct access to the cozy brewery yard at Home of Carlsberg. 

The Carlsberg Bar is open for bookings after 19.00.
