Carl Jacobsen founded one of the world's largest private collections of paintings and sculptures. He donated most of the collection to Copenhagen in the form of New Carlsberg Glyptotek.
Today's collection at the Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre contains a mixture of older and modern art work and is now closed to the public. A special sight is Carlsberg employees 50th anniversary portraits, which adorns the long Gallery Hall.
